Data on Daily Life

Creating an infographic to visualize the day-to-day.

Nicholas Felton is a designer who spends a lot of time thinking about the stats and patterns of humans’ daily routines. He helped design Facebook’s timeline and created the app Reporter, which sends you daily surveys to help track the nuances and rhythms of life.

Arguably coolest of all, he creates beautifully involved personal annual reports year after year—tracking things like subway trips taken, song tracks played and coffees consumed.

We asked our designers to create a visual snapshot of their lives, Felton-style.
